Dennis Peatrowsky

President and Managing Member

A native of West Point, Nebraska, Mr. Peatrowsky brings over 25 years of experience in financial services, estate planning, investment management. A United States Marine Corps veteran, Mr. Peatrowsky received a baccalaureate degree, summa cum laude, from Park University and obtained his Juris Doctor (JD) degree from the Creighton University School of Law in 1994.

Mr. Peatrowsky served more than 17 years as compliance officer, in-house counsel and wealth advisor for regional registered investment adviser firms. Mr. Peatrowsky has a track record managing customized investment portfolios, and provides counsel to individuals, families, trustees and business owners while working with their advisors, CPAs, and trusted professionals.

Admitted to the practice of law in Nebraska, Peatrowsky held the Series 4, 7, 24, and 63 securities licenses, holds the Series 65 investment adviser license and a life and disability insurance license. He is a member of WealthCounsel, the Nebraska State Bar Association, is an active parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, and enjoys spending time with his three children.

Mark Henry

A native of Tyler Texas, Mark Henry has been licensed in the securities industry for over 20 years, with a license as an investment advisor since 2006. Outside of Virtue Wealth Counsel, Mark is the founder of Stewardship Planned Giving and is recognized nationally in stewardship, estate planning, and planned giving. Henry holds Series 63 and Series 65 licenses, which qualifies as both a securities agent and an investment advisor representative. He is the Senior Vice-President and Director of Planned Giving.

Mark is the author of various books, including “Finish Faithful”, a Catholic stewardship look at estate planning and philanthropy. Mark practiced law concentrating on Catholic estate planning and philanthropy since 1983 and has served the Catholic community in leadership positions with Dioceses and Foundations and as a philanthropic adviser to Catholic nonprofits and individuals. Mark is a frequent speaker at Catholic conferences and a guest on Catholic radio programs.

Dennis "DJ" Peatrowsky ChFC®

As a Private Wealth Planner, holding the ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant) designation, DJ brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. With a passion for practicing his faith while helping individuals and families achieve their financial goals, he delivers on simplifying complex financial topics. He empowers clients to make informed decisions that align with their aspirations. Faith, trust, and transparency are qualities DJ believes are important in fostering long-term relationships.

DJ also conducts research on securities and investments, provides due diligence to the  president, and reviews asset allocation decisions for client portfolios. He assists the firm’s Chief Compliance Officer review regulations and regulatory filings. Lastly, DJ assists in administrative and operational services for clients.

Currently, he is attending Creighton University in the Master of Financial Planning/Financial Psychology program. Before attending Creighton, DJ earned his bachelor’s in business
management with a concentration in legal studies at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is a 2018 graduate of Skutt Catholic High School.

When he is not at work or with his family, you can find DJ in the gym, playing basketball, or attending various athletic and community events. He is a parishioner at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, where he and his family attend mass every Sunday morning. DJ has volunteered in a variety of community charities such as Habitat for Humanity, as well as is a member of Knights of Columbus, Catholic Business Group of Omaha, and VENI.

Sydney Peatrowsky

Director of Marketing

Sydney has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. She is responsible for the new client onboarding process as well as the day-to-day client service responsibilities. Sydney spent several years supporting management teams in marketing, retail, and the non-profit industries before joining Virtue Wealth Counsel.

She brings a tremendous work ethic and calming personality to Virtue Wealth Counsel and our clients. Sydney believes having a positive outlook and a readiness to learn are the keys to personal growth. Beyond her professional endeavors, Sydney finds joy in creative pursuits–enjoying music, literature, and writing. She enjoys the adventure of travel, complemented by outdoor activities shared with her family, and walking her dog, Poppy, around the lake.

Trevor Henry

Customer Relations

Trevor Henry assists the Virtue Wealth Counsel Texas office with customer relations. Trevor has a background in database management and not-for-profit services. Trevor graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Grand Canyon University. Trevor graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory in Scottsdale, Arizona. Outside of the office, Trevor enjoys playing softball with the local Catholic team and other outdoor activities like hunting, fishing and snowboarding.

Spencer Peatrowsky

Intern

Spencer Peatrowsky is currently a full-time business student at Creighton University. He is committed to his studies and plans to attend law school after he receives his bachelor’s degree in management.

As a member of the Management Consultant Club within the Heider College of Business, he has studied Microeconomics, Accounting, Business Statistics, Computer Science, Philosophy, and Psychology.

Spencer has a part-time internship at Peatrowsky Law, LLC, which focuses on estate planning, business formation, and trusts. His tasks involve administrative drafting of documents, assisting Mr. Peatrowsky in client meetings, and preparing documents for client delivery. Spencer aspires to manage his own law firm in the future and is learning valuable skills involving investments and estate and tax planning at Virtue Wealth Counsel.

When Spencer is not in class, you can find him visiting nearby lakes, where he cherishes the sounds, sights, and smells of nature. Spencer is also passionate about the practice of meditation, which is a key part of his daily ritual. These hobbies allow him to remain calm and focused when he is away from his studies.
