Frequently Asked Questions
Can Catholics invest successfully without violating the traditional practices of the faith?
Yes, with sincere efforts.
Do you charge for consultations or an audit to see if my current portfolio violates traditional Catholic practices?
No. Consultations and Catholic screening audits are free. There is no obligation to move forward after a consultation or Catholic screen audit.
Are your portfolios totally in accord with the USCCB Investing Guidelines and traditional Catholic teaching?
We are committed to doing so. To ensure future compliance, we regularly audit our portfolios to be in accord with both the USCCB and traditional Catholic teaching. Unlike most Catholic screening firms, we are willing to provide transparent reports of our Catholic screening reports at no charge.
Can you send me a list of companies I should not invest in from a moral standpoint?
The screening process for each security is fluid and screened frequently. Upon request, we can provide direct and thorough documentation of our strenuous screening process as well as which companies are violating traditional Catholic practices.
Can you exclude investments from my portfolio that the USCCB or Catholic teaching doesn’t prohibit, like tobacco or alcohol?
While our screening process is not limited to the USCCB guidelines, we may exclude investments in areas that are under traditional practices of the Catholic Faith.
How hard is it to get started investing if I’ve never done it before?
We personally know each of our clients and would be glad to walk you through this process step by step to make the process simple for you.
I already have an investment portfolio. Can you make it Catholic?
After discussing your risk tolerance, taxes, and objectives, many clients have made a transition from a secular portfolio to our Catholic-screened portfolio tailored for you.
